About BASEDDANA

BASEDDANA is a tribute to Dana White, the UFC, combat sports fighters and being BASED AS FUCK.

BASEDDANA is not affiliated with Dana White or the UFC but takes huge inspiration from both.

At its core, the BASEDDANA project simply seeks to celebrate combat sports and the associated politically incorrect internet subculture, while also paying tribute to staying BASED in the face of a world full of fakes and snowflakes.

Phase 1 of the BASEDANA project will involve the launch of the $BDANA token.

For the BASEDDANA project to enter Phase 2 of the roadmap, the Phase 1 token launch must achieve and sustainably maintain a $1m market cap, which will provide the necessary funding for the project to seek to further it’s celebration through the creation of BASEDDANA NFTs.

BASEDDANA NFTs will act as a vessel for aspiring artists to share different collections of combat sports related artwork with the BASEDDANA community and beyond, while also providing a mechanism to recycle revenue from NFT sales to distribute rewards to BASEDDANA NFT holders and fund other community initiatives via the BASEDDANA community treasury.

Phase 3 will further enhance the facilitation of BASEDDANA community initiatives by creating a DAO and providing the BASEDDANA NFT holders with the ability to vote on how funds held by the BASEDDANA community treasury are spent.

Phase 1 – $BDANA token launch (Q3 2024)

Phase 2 – BASEDDANA NFTs and THE OCTAVAULT rewards distribution (pending success of Phase 1, planned for Q4 2024)

BASEDDANA NFTs

The purchase price of a BASEDDANA NFT will be denominated in $BDANA
The purchase price will be parameterized/configurable and will change based on factors such as the number of BASEDDANA NFTs minted and $BDANA price/market cap
Deposit the required amount of $BDANA to THE OCTAVAULT to purchase and mint a BASEDDANA NFT to your wallet
When a BASEDDANA NFT is minted, it will be randomly assigned 1 of 6 tiers
Initially there will be one BASEDDANA NFT collection that will contain a piece of digital artwork that is unique to each of the 6 tiers
Over time there will be multiple collections of BASEDDANA NFTs, and the intent is for each collection to feature digital artwork created by different artists
Each BASEDDANA collection will be subject to a limited/capped amount of mints
BASEDDANA NFTs will entitle holders to a % of rewards distribution and voting rights based on the assigned tier
The BASEDDANA Team will have the ability to disable the minting of an NFT collection at any given time
The BASEDDANA Team recommend using Metamask to purchase and store BASEDDANA NFTs

BASEDDANA NFT tiers

When a BASEDDANA NFT is minted, it will be randomly assigned 1 of 6 “tiers” based on random probability
The 6 tiers are:
- BASED (1/100)
- CHAD (9/100)
- SIGMA (15/100)
- ALPHA (25/100)
- BETA (49/100)
- CUCK (1/100)
Note that probability ratios (i.e. 1/100) won’t guarantee exact apportionment for every 100 NFTs minted (i.e. if 100 NFTs are minted there is no guarantee that a BASED tier NFT will be minted)

THE OCTAVAULT

All daily inflows of the $BDANA received for BASEDDANA NFT purchases will be allocated by THE OCTAVAULT
75% of the daily $BDANA inflows will be allocated and held by THE OCTAVAULT for BASEDDANA NFT holder rewards distribution
15% of the daily $BDANA inflows will be allocated and transferred by THE OCTAVAULT to the BASEDDANA Community Treasury wallet
5% of the daily $BDANA inflows will be allocated and transferred by THE OCTAVAULT to the BASEDDANA Digital Artist wallet
5% of the daily $BDANA inflows will be allocated and transferred by THE OCTAVAULT to the BASEDDANA Team wallet
10% of the total $BDANA held by THE OCTAVAULT for rewards distribution will be sold each day for $WETH at a random time
The slow-release sale of the total % of $BDANA held for rewards distribution by THE OCTAVAULT will smooth-out sell and rewards distribution volumes, and help reduce any potential volatility that might eventuate based on price action or daily $BDANA inflows

THE OCTAVAULT rewards allocation and distribution

75% of daily $BDANA inflows resulting from BASEDDANA NFT purchases will be allocated and held by THE OCTAVAULT for BASEDDANA NFT holder monthly rewards distribution
10% of the total $BDANA held by THE OCTAVAULT for rewards distribution will be sold each day for $WETH at a random time
Note that sales will not be a % of daily $BDANA inflows but % of total $BDANA held in THE OCTAVAULT that is subject to rewards allocation and that this % amount is parameterized / configurable
$WETH rewards entitlement will be based on a BASEDDANA NFT tier % allocation
- 5% of total $WETH rewards will be distributed to holders of BASEDDANA NFTs associated with the BASED tier
- 15% of total $WETH rewards will be distributed to holders of BASEDDANA NFTs associated with the CHAD tier
- 15% of total $WETH rewards will be distributed to holders of BASEDDANA NFTs associated with the SIGMA tier
- 23% of total $WETH rewards will be distributed to holders of BASEDDANA NFTs associated with the ALPHA tier
- 42% of total $WETH rewards will be distributed to holders of BASEDDANA NFTs associated with the BETA tier
- 0% of total $WETH rewards will be distributed to holders of BASEDDANA NFTs associated with the CUCK tier
Note that based on the BASEDDANA NFT tiers assigned using random probability, in theory at any given time there will be less CHAD tier holders than SIGMA tier holders, so even though the above total % allocation is the same for both tiers, the % allocation for the SIGMA tier will be distributed amongst a greater number of holders
$WETH rewards will be distributed to BASEDDANA NFT holders on the 1^st of each month once > 100 BASEDDANA NFTs for an individual have been minted AND at least 1 BASEDDANA NFT from each tier exists
Initially the $WETH tier % entitlement rewards amount will be distributed evenly to 100% of all BASEDDANA NFT holders for that tier
The % of BASEDDANA holders from each tier who receive rewards has been parameterised and configurable so that changes can be made in future based on factors like number of BASEDDANA NFTs minted and rewards saturation (i.e. rewards may be distributed to a subset of BASEDDANA NFT holders from each tier at random based on a %)
The BASEDDANA Team will have the ability to disable the distribution of rewards to holders of a particular NFT collection at any given time

THE OCTAVAULT BASEDDANA Community Treasury allocation

15% of the daily $BDANA inflows resulting from BASEDDANA NFT purchases will be allocated and transferred by the THE OCTAVAULT to the BASEDDANA Community Treasury wallet
The $BDANA and $WETH held in the BASEDDANA Community Treasury wallet will be used for initiatives as voted on by BASEDDANA NFT holders
The $BDANA team will control the Community Treasury wallet and may convert $BDANA into $WETH on an ad hoc basis, aside from this, funds contained in the BASEDDANA Community Treasury wallet will not be spent independent of BASEDDANA NFT holder votes
Community initiatives may include fighter bonus payments, charity donations, marketing, extra rewards distribution for BASEDDANA NFT holders or token burning
In the case of extra rewards for BASEDDANA NFT holders, these may be distributed in either $BDANA or $WETH, and the currency and distribution timeline will be decided by the BASEDDANA Team

THE OCTAVAULT BASEDDANA Team allocation

5% of the daily $BDANA inflows resulting from BASEDDANA NFT purchases will be allocated and transferred by THE OCTAVAULT to a BASEDDANA team wallet
These funds will be used to pay for reward distribution gas fees, additional marketing and/or other costs associated with running the BASEDDANA project

THE OCTAVAULT BASEDDANA Digital Artist allocation

5% of the daily $BDANA inflows resulting from BASEDDANA NFT purchases will be allocated and transferred by THE OCTAVAULT to a BASEDDANA Digital Artist fund wallet
These funds will be used to pay artists for the digital artwork they have produced for a collection and/or other costs associated with procuring artwork for BASEDDANA NFTs

Phase 3 – BASEDDANA NFT voting (planned for Q1 2025)

BASEDDANA NFT voting

BASEDDANA NFT holders will vote on how $BDANA and $WETH held in the BASEDDANA Community Treasury wallet is used for community initiatives
Community initiatives may include performance bonuses for fighters, charity donations, marketing or additional rewards for BASEDDANA NFT holders
Voting will initially be conducted each quarter, but frequency may be increased based on BASEDDANA community participation and volume of BASEDDANA Community Treasury inflows
Voting clout/weighting will be based on BASEDDANA NFT tier
- A weighting of 0 will be applied to the BASED tier (i.e. 1 NFT = 1 vote)
- A weighting of 0.25 will be applied to the CHAD tier (i.e. 1 NFT = 1.25 votes)
- A weighting of 0.5 will be applied to the SIGMA tier (i.e. 1 NFT = 1.5 votes)
- A weighting of 0.75 will be applied to the ALPHA tier (i.e. 1 NFT = 1.75 votes)
- A weighting of 1 will be applied to the BETA tier (i.e. 1 NFT = 2 votes)
- A weighting of -1 will be applied to the CUCK tier (i.e. 1 NFT = 0 votes)
The BASEDDANA Team will have the ability to disable the voting rights of holders of a particular NFT collection at any given time
